Prov West Stampede Party

Well Folks,

Sexy threw the idea out there in the general forum, with only a luke warm responce. Do we want to have a get together, be is a BBQ or a party, or just beers and pizza?

Now would be the time to start putting something together, as it appears we are going to have a short summer :)

I vote for a gathering prior to Stampede, in addition to the one Bish0p proposed. I also propose that we do it on June 1st, since the Sask users are having their gathering on that day.

How can 21 be in TWO places at once??? Waaah!!!! I look forward with eager anticipation to meeting both DR and BISHOP…but Saskatchewan is SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Can I come, or is it in an Alchohol/smoking enviroment? (ie: bar) but if its in a house, than i can come, or a resteraunt.. That is, if you want me to come……

For sure we want you to come… you're practically an original given that you've been here for over two years now. I will make sure it will be somewhere like Boston Pizza or something so you can attend.

Busted? Whatever. Anyway, I am too busy with the regiment to drive to Saskatchewan. However, I am not too busy to drive 10 minutes from Mewata Armouries to a restaurant in Calgary somewhere.

That's an EXCELLENT idea, kimberlite! Our very own HOLIDAY - when gatherings happen at Boston Pizza's all over the country! Maybe we can even get a pizza discount…hmmmmm. And I guess I'm going to Calgary. No reason to go to ToonTown anymore…69 I miss you already.

just bring a laptop.. and a cam.. stick it live on the site.. then we can watch and be in the chat! Then we can all be there, virtually!

Instead of travelling to other people's parties, why don't you organize a gathering in Edmonton, 21MDB? And set the gathering date for June 1st also… that way there will be at least three gatherings happening on the same day in different cities.

Speaking for myself, the more the merrier, just let her know that we all sort of know each other so she might be left out if she allows that to happen. However if she is anything like you I can't see that happening :)

why don't you organize a gathering in Edmonton

That sounds like a good idea, if we held regional outings, got to know the folks in our area, and then hold one National CMT gathering a year… You know where we all wesr moose hats and things… end up in the wrong beds, etc

I'll get the stock of moose hats ready just in case someone forgets theirs' haha!
A National CMT gathering will have to be a week long event so everybody can make it(days off and such) and we can book some guest speakers(someone from the BOC perhaps).

That is a great idea dr. I was thinking of trying to make it to Calgary but I would have a much better chance of making it to a gathering in Edmonton. What do you think 21?
They have Moose hats and things in Calgary and Kilts in Sask. What will we have in Edmonton ? LOL

I like the idea of an Edmonton party as well. It's extremely tough for me to get away to attend anywhere else.
