Would NEVER KNOWINGLY pass on a note knowing it was bad.

For the record….I did notify the bank.

Since you got it from the bank ….Do you think they would reimburse you if you told them you got it from them????

The Bank said that once they have "completed their investigation and verified it as a bogus bill", I would INDEED be reimbursed for the sum with no "penalties" being placed against me. They were impressed that I went forward to them once I found out.
Goes to show it pays to be loyal with a bank branch (no pun intended)
Again…I would NEVER, EVER, INTENTIONALLY, pass on a bogus note.
