Each member has a place to list information in their Profile some have made a real nice profile while other tend to give very little information. Have these fallen out of favor with new members? How come we never have contests anymore? What other than the pure thrill of tracking money does this site offer anymore. A few of us in Saskatoon still get together but for the most part we are not bonded like we use to be. What are we missing? I have the questions has anybody got the answers?
BDK still runs the hit guess contest, but other than that & your Saskatoon meetings not much seems to be happening.

As you may be aware I am sometimes to the point. When I started here we had monthly dinner meetings and breakfast meetings and coffee meetings and then bam things started to fall apart. Most times I left these meetings happy and energized with thoughts from others and a few new friends. I will admit I did not see eye to eye with some members and that came out in the forums … as public forums sides were taken and borders drawn and forces formed. No blood letting a few verbal bruises but nothing than could not be sorted out. Those who could not take the heat left and those who stayed enjoyed the site without the bullies on the block. However some of those we lost were the very fiber of the tracking community the glue so to speak that held us all together . Some just tired of the game and moved on others tired of all the debates and banter left for more serine surroundings. I would love to see this site get back to being vibrant and alive however without a true leader with desire and control of the sight we are just left to push on in a slow state. I for one am not prepared to let the site die or quit on the site. Until the end Happy Tracking.
I will have to talk to BDK I was not aware that contests were still going on. We do meet for coffee once in a while when he is not too busy doing the retired thing. (heck I bet he never worked so hard until he retired). I would love to hear more members thoughts in here and some more forum banter we are all over the country but that does not mean we cannot meet in the forums. If your a member and still here on the site lets heat this place up and get her cooking again.
