I have some news that is not nice news to bare.
I found out yesterday that the lady that is known here as SexyChick had been in an Accident on the #5 hiway between Hope and Merritt BC. At that time she was in critical condition in VGH in Vancouver and all that I could find out is that she was in ICU with head trauma.
I have since learnt this morning that her condition has imporved slightly and she should be moved out of ICU sometime today. She has what has been described to me as a long recovery process ahead of her, so I ask that you keep her in your heart and prayers (if yo do that sort of thing) for as quick and complete a recovery.
To that end I have forwarded a bunch of flowers and a card wishing her a speedy recovery from her friends at CMT, and let her know that she is in our hearts and minds as she recovers.

Bish…Where did you get your info? If you are willing to pass me the necessary details, a good friend of mine is the Executive Secretary to the Director of the VGH, and I MAY be able to find out more details. Another route is if anyone here has RCMP contacts.

I don't think it is inportant to get anymore information, and with the last post I just made about Privacy I would not feel right about giving out information. If you are intersted I will pass along (in email, so if you are email me or ICQ me) when I hear anything, more.
My intial post was not to cause a swell of people calling and bothering the RCMP and Hospital, it was simply to let people here know what had happened to her, and get your support in sending her the love and light that she needs to get better.

I don't think there was anything in the major BC papers or news. Mabye in a local Hope paper.
And only a week ago, my great-uncle was in ICU, but, he never made it. Went to his funeral yesterday.
Thanks for the update BishOp. Best to SC. As I live in the lower mainland if you find out more info and she needs company I'd be happy to visit. Being that she's from Calgary family and friends may not make the trip.
Thanks BishOp SexyChick is a friend and I'm glad you sent flowers and a card! Lets hope she's out of the hospital soon! Do you think you could find out when she'll be sent home? Then maybe dr could send a get well email from the CMT group as a whole! It might be better than every one sending their own email and over loading her on the first day! I know I have limited space for mail on my system!
