If i have hit another persons bill, such as hoggs, this gives him a hit. the question i have is i get notified when it gets hit again. do i get points as well as hoggs? or does he just get the points?

It's considered a hit for both of you.

That might be in the hit FAQ. If not, it's something that has to be added.
