NO hits

I am setting a new record every day for NOT getting a hit. I have had 888 hits for 103 days (Jan. 10) and counting. What's going on?

The right people are just not seeing your notes…..

considering the number of notes that I enter vs the number of hits that I get, it ain't as bad as you may think.
As Bank Collector stated, the right people just aren't seeing the notes or, should i also add, the right ones aren't ENTERING the notes on the site.

Hits are gathered in many ways and over the years some of us have found a good place to spend marked bills with a high chance of a hit or two. I buy all my fuel from Saskatoon Coop and at one time there was a tracker at the station where I fill up (in fact that is where I found the site from one of his bills) He has moved on but I still buy all my fuel there just with fewer hits. I had an eatery I always went to that had a tracker working there and got many hits. These are know has hit friendly locations and if you have such locations in your area why not support them. When I need a handyman (carpentry work) I use a fellow tracker for that work and pay him cash. When we have coffee together we do not trade bills as those would be getting hits in unnatural way of spending cash. If a tracker is in business and another tracker uses their services and pays in marked bills then I feel those are righteous hits and will enter every bill received for services rendered. Asking friends and family members to enter your serial numbers or becoming a close friend with anonymous are not rightful hits and are shone upon. I am not the hit police or every a site assistant just a long time member who has learned the site rules over the years from wonderful teachers like Rudy K , Pooga, BDK, Idjit to name a few. I have always called this a game and do not believe it is a site for the sole purpose of tracking the natural flow of money as in creating the site and using it changes the natural flow of money. If not a game then why did it start with teams and ranks and top ten lists and scores. If it looks like a game and has rules like a game and scores like a game it is a GAME. Now I would like to thank the person who returned my soap box so that I can make these rants in the forums It went missing some time ago and could not find a replacement. And now my disclaimer: The information listed here are my own opinions and the views expressed are mine. If you do not like what I have written here please send your reasons to me in private message as every day I am here I am learning. One final note : I had a door installed at my shop two weeks ago and the installation was fantastic and went off without any problems if anyone in Saskatoon needs a great handyman let me know and I will give you his contact information. And yes he is a tracker and enters marked bills.

Thanks for all the comments. I do not mind your "rant" BANKCOLLECTOR. My philosophy on tracking is much like yours. Some reasons I suspect I am getting less hits: (1) I have spent close to 6 months each year in the US for the last 10 years, although in the early years I continued to get hits while out of the country. I do take a few notes with me, I need some cash when I arrive back in Canada in the spring anyway, so I can enter an occasional note while in the US. (2) In 2011-2012 I entered a good supply of unmarked notes due to not having any StazOn ink. I have NEVER received a singe hit on any of these. (3) I am simply entering less notes than I did in the early years, disposable cash declining as my retirement continues, not complaining just stating a fact. (4) This site does not appear to be as popular a 10 years ago and I notice overall hits are much less, so stands to reason mine would decline as well.
I track most of my US cash on the "Where's George" website and an interesting note is that my hit ratio on that site is identical to CMT

Mine is 86 days and the longest ever to wait for a hit. More people are using less cash as way of payment for things. I've observed more common ways of payment such as deebit and credit for even the simpliest purchases, like a cup of coffee and a donut. Still it's fun to watch where the next hit comes from even if they come in less frequent.

Love seeing where the notes end up in travels.

And I feel more fortunate than others that I live near a major airport. Because of it, my bills scatter all over the country. I do miss those hits. Well, cheers to a better year for everyone! = )
