It seems that more and more Prefixes are appearing that are NOT in the system and CANNOT be entered by the System Administrator because he doesn't have the authority to do so.
When you stop putting oil in the car, the cylinders stop working, and the engine begins to seize. Eventually it WILL STOP working!!

Please remain optimistic this site has remained standing for many years and at the start had regular upgrades those became fewer and spaced farther apart I believe we are on fuel rationing where we can still enter old stuff but not new. I agree this cripples the growth and becomes frustrating and will finally end in a slow and painful death. Like starving your long living pet as you have become bored with being the keeper. Now one of two things should happen let the site go to a good home where it will be loved and cared for or put it down with dignity. I hope the site remains but really… DO OR DIE THIELE IS NO TRY. If site leadership is not leading then ask for them to step down or close the site and move on.
I'm optimistic that the old jalopy will keep running for a while yet, hopefully as long as we still have paper money.

Yes, it will continue for awhile as long as the old prefixes continue to circulate (which should be for a very long time).
But, in the "ole jalopy", you have to put oil in the engine and also change the oil every now and then. ;)
As someone who has become addicted to this site, I would certainly hate to see it disappear.
Let's not put it into retirement just yet!!
