Torn Notes

I have noticed more and more torn notes, particularly in the centre top or centre bottom.
I'm guessing it's from the electronic "money counters".

Has anyone else noticed this happening?

I've had lots of torn ones on the older notes, but none on the polymer notes yet.

maybe it's a local thing (G4S) ?
