I live on the Queen Charlottes and there sure aren't a lot of people here, ergo not a lot of bills either… I got one of my bills back this morning!!! And the system wouldn't let me enter it again…
Now, part of the problem is, if you read my last message, I don't stamp (or at least not yet) and I didn't know this particular $5 was one I'd already had in my possession.
So, what do I do now. With only one Credit Union, Co-op, one Home Hardware and a few restaurants, I'm sure this is going to happen again!!!
Write on your bills by hand with a pen, like I do.

That doesn't cover the problem with me getting one of my bills back….
Any suggestions???
I get a lot of my bills back. Not much you can do about it. I even had one back after about 3 months (minus one day). Just spend them again and hope they get outta town!! I live in a village. If it is large enough to call that.
Don't fret over living in a small town and receiving your bills back. When I first joined CMT, I was somewhat frustrated also! Eventually, you're bills will leave the small town and you will start to feel the frustration leaving. Some people in your area will also think the money is fake. Just snicker to yourself and let it go in one ear, and out the other even if you feel like strangling them.
Hang tough and good luck!
From dr's reply you must understand that you need to stamp so you will get hits and so you can reject the bills you have already marked…
Don't worry about being in a small town. I see my bills all over the place everyday. (At the bank the other day, every bill but one was marked, I had to trade them back) They will get out of town eventually. If you know someone going on holidays, trade some bills to get yours out. Just mark every one you have and don't get discouraged, you'll get hits soon!!
In your case, focus on 20's and above if you can. Those are more likely to leave town, if not by travellers, then they will leave with bank shipments and transfers.
