Interesting user stats...

Has anyone else noticed that, on their personal stats page, the entry % (IE 29% $5 bills) is very very close to the distribution % of hits? I mean, it makes total sense but, for the overall entry/hits %, 5's are just about double their entry %. Any ideas from the statisticians(sp?) out there?

I noticed that the other day. Of course it always fluctuates once you enter new bills, but it always seems to even itself out (or almost does). Pretty cool. I forget what formula you would use to calculate the probability of not having the hit % be reasonably close to the distribution %, and I only took a stats class this past spring. Now I know why I'm not a math major.

master i think i understand what you are saying…
bill entrees
$ 5 3,159 (29.83 % )
bill hits
$ 5 184 (37.70 %)

My answer is to why it is so is because $5 bills circulate faster then a $10, $20 , $50, and $100
many kids and everyone gets $5,s and spend them often
where $50 nearly no one ever has.. and to further my point i have only ever had 1 $1000.00 dollar bill b4.. yet i have had uncountable $5's
with banks machines not using 10's $20's are circulated more than $10's
$5's are hardly used in any bank machines anymore
which will make 20's be circulated nearly the same.. so $20's will be pretty popular too $5's will still be change for $20's almost everywhere..
and $5's will keep a high circulation
