Is it just me, but no matter where I am on the site, in the address bar, all it ever says is "http://www.cdn-money.com/" I thought it was because of the java thing, but earlier today - for the 1st time, it actualy said where exactly on the site I was. It is easier to copy and paste bill positions if you can do this, and with it never changing from the home page, you have to write it manually everytime. Maybe this is a setting somewhere, that is why I am asking.
I noticed the SAME thing a long time ago. And yes, it makes it very difficult.
It might just be a setting on your browser. When I'm here at CMT if I select a link on a page a new window opens. Now, don't ask me why but that doesn't happen at every site.
Anyway, when that new window opens I get the real URL for the bill I'm looking at. I can then copy and paste it into my email. As some may have seen before, I just pasted in the whole URL, but now, thanks to help from 21MDB I can insert the link hidden inside the hypertext!!
So, you may want to check on your browser settings…. Just a suggestion; I have a feeling someone out there is going to have the RIGHT answer!!!
The reason you always see "www.cdn-money.com" at the top is because dr is using frames, that top bar that had the logo, french and logout options is always the same for each page you visit so what you are seeing is the address for that. The actual content that you are looking at dosn't show it's address. I think… dr?
There is a way to show the full name of the page your at. If you type www.cdn-money.com into the address bar, before going to the site, it should show a list of pages for the site. Instead of going to cdn-money.com, go down to the one that has "Main" at the end of it. Thats the front page, and every time you go to another part of the site from this, it will show the address of the page you go to.
I dought this makes much sense, hopefully everyone can read it, or someone else could type it in simpler terms.
