nothing but fives

not a big problem…but….when you go on holidays with nothing but fives($600.00 worth)…how do you get change to enter new bills??? I have not entered a bill for 11 days….someone help me!!!!

Trade up; most businesses would eagerly give you a $20 note in exchange for four $5 notes.

the liquor store was happy to take some of my fives today. I gave her all fives for my beer with t-shirt purchase and she was thrilled with them so I mentioned that if she wanted about 200 dollars more I would gladly sell them to her!! She only toook 60 worth though. maybe i will gey some hits out of it!

I'm sure some stores would also gladly change loonies and toonies for bills. Thats what I sometimes do when I only have smaller bills.

At my liquor store we tend to get a lot of fives these days, enough that I routinely sell them back to the store float. I'd rather hold on to what coin I have. I don't mind if some wants to trade just a single five for coin, but any more, I usually say I can't spare the coins.

I have thought about going to a bank or store and trading in fives for twenties, but felt a bit guilty about it…..but i wont anymore…and as for turning in change for bills…..usually only when i got 100.00 rolled up before i change them in…so dont think i'm taking small bills from a business when they may need them….and for antics……thanks for the support….i'll be right behind you again soon……or even in front…i hope…lol
