sorry Lord_Comedy that I was not able to come but a family matter came up and without notice. there was no way for me to contact anyone. sorry I missed the meeting, I know i would have enjpyed myself very much……

Lord_Comedy

I figured something musta came up..
it isn't a problem..
you'll just have to talk with eagle.. we'll need to find another time we can exchange the 1 and 10 $ bills

maggiemae

Oh right I forgot about that exchange that I was responsible for I will call Fred and see that he gets the money back. There may be a chance that I moght be coming to regina tomorrow and if I do will be heading for the bingo hall. I will send you a message on the e-mail if that is happening.

Sweetie

yes I did Lord_Comedy.. nice to see a few of the faces that are into this tracking too.. Thanks for taking the time to plan it and trying to get some of the Regina Area ppl out :o)

meangene79

Thanks Lord_Comedy for arranging tonight's meeting. I really enjoyed meeting everybody tonight. I definitely hope we can do it again sometime. Thanks also to all who attended :)

antics

It was a blast! And I came home to a wonderfully clean and newly redecorated house!! My step daughter is a wizard!! except for the bomb in my living room. that has to go. it was turned into a lamp and is not my style

antics

i am used to it. sometimes i have had to go in twice in one day if large furniture items are being delivered. closed walmart down, drove my neice home then left regina. it is only about 45 minutes give or take.

Lord_Comedy

nothing much got discussed.. sweetie was there.. me.. (lord_comedy) ,meangene79, antics, ( was that your daughter antics) , calead, cmwolf ( also a willier) , sweeties hubby. .. i hope i never missed anyone

antics

no that was my neice. she has listed a couple bills a long time ago under secret101. i think that is the name she used. she was working crazy and double shifts for awhile and is planning her wedding for September. she says I have to dress up. i dont know how. I was a tomboy all my life and never really held traditional jobs either so i have a problem and dont know how to dress myself. other than casual. like i told her, i feel like a drag queen in a dress. ha ha

antics

no no no no and no!! I cannot say I trust her style of dress. she has a really really ugly jacket that belonged to a primitive ex and egh!! she likes it!! sorry shanon but…….. LOL! I miss shopping with Jane, a friend from Ontario. she had good style and was honest about what i should and should not wear.

Lord_Comedy

LOL but for her wedding i am sure she would want something NICE?? am i wrong.. maybe take a couple of her friends too

antics

LOL!! That was way way back in my hippie days. I probably had flowers in my hair too! it was a very very casual affair to say the least. i was not yet out of my teens either. and it was NOT the most intelligent thing I have ever done.

shewolf

hey nothing wrong with a jeans and t-shirt wedding thats how we did the best man's wedding from my wedding party we married them off biker style 2 weeks before our big one… must say the biker wedding was better and looked cool all jeans, t-shirts and leathers with harley's… then again maybe the harley's were dressy enough for the wedding party
hehehe

Lord_Comedy

:) that is kinda neat.. but weddings are supposed to be formal..
even mine and i don't have anything dressy..
mine isn't even in the planning as i need a GF 1st.. but still i know it won't be jeans and a tshirt

antics

well each to their own!! some people marry on a roller coaster, circus, public t.v., Gerry Springer show etc etc. the success rate of most marriages is not great anyhow so why bother is my attitude. My last one was at someones house and we did dress up. hey! that is a photo i can put on the profile page!!

Lord_Comedy

put it on up..
and you are right about marriages i know of 1 couple married..
get this . probably a record somewhere..
married 8 times.. to each other
they break up.. and get married .. alot..
i don't know how long they have been doing this.. but they only stay together each time they get married about a month..
i think this last time was 2 weeks
they don't exactly do a big hall and stuff each time.. i don't know about the previous times.. they just did it in the back yard of a co workers house..

Well the idea is to not get married unless you know it will work. Love isn't enough. Have to be friends as well and both believe in commitment. We went all out formal. And since we're both Ukrainian, it had to be big and long! Revived some traditions that the family hadn't seen in 50 years. And 450 people at the reception! Started Friday AM till Monday afternoon. Biggest day of your life, because it is for life, so might as well make it memorable.

Worked for us. 24 years and counting.

antics

well not for me. i dont think permanent. maybe I have never grown up but I dont care. variety is the spice of life. we just got back together and i dont think permanent. it is a we will see situation. we have nothing in common outside of the bedroom. and I mean NOTHING!! and pooga, you are right! love is not enough. not even close to being enough. I am more happy living all alone to be totally honest. i like alone.

Pooga

As the saying goes:

Love is a word.

Marriage is a sentence.

[drum roll here]

A life sentence!
