I was wondering if it's ok to make bets/wagers here in the forums on certain things ie: yesterdays Bombers/Riders football game. Obviously I would have bet on the Bombers and the wager would have been $5. Does this infringe on the rules? Does anyone have a problem with this? Just a thought that I had. Give me your feedback.
just an opinion, but this isn't a betting web site. it is money tracking. however a small bet between "friends" should be ok.. i use the term friends lightly, we are more aquantences with a simular past time. i just don't know or think forums would be a good place for that
Don't do it publicly. Use email to bet if you want to, therefore you don't get minors involved, or it doesn't offend anyone. Or chat on MSN.
It may get Dr in trouble or the website shut down by some officials if there is betting going on.
Thanks for the input. I figured it would be better to ask before starting something that would be frowned on. Anyone else have an opinion on this? Good or bad, I'd love to hear it.
My feedback is no. I don't think that would be a wise idea but maybe through the e-mail is the smart way to go.
I agree with MmmBeer and maggiemae. Keep betting out of the forums/the site; that way only those who are interested may participate and it won't create potential problems for dr.
