Last night (well, early this morning) while I was busy brewing beer, someone was breaking into my truck and stole my golf clubs!!!
At least the police were prompt. An officer was there within 30 minutes of my calling it in. That's not bad for a 'minor' theft.
BUT I'M SO MAD RIGHT NOW I COULD STRANGLE SOMEONE!!!!

now you can get new ones, get the kind that hit the balls where you want them to go and not where they want to go.
They must have been in a hurry. Just the bag of clubs. Didn't have time for the cart or the shoes.
Everything can be replaced, but there were a couple of 'golf toys' that had sentimental value, like a personalised bag tag and towel from <a href=http://www.gvhawaii.com/poipubay/poipubay.html target=_blank>Poipu Bay</a> the year that Tiger won the Grand Slam. Unreplaceable. Sigh.
And yeah, have a package policy, so should be able to replace them within a couple of months.
damm, thats too bad Pooga, would be nice to run into them on a dark moonless night sometime, just you and a baseball bat
Sorry to hear that pooga.. having been victimized by thieves not once But TWICE this yr ( & neither time would I describe it as petty theft or "minor") I can certainly relate to the feelings of Anger. Hopefully the Police will catch your crooks and justice can be served.
i haven't really gottenout golfing this year, just to the driving range!! But losing a set of clubs to theft is not nice, it sucks even more that you lost sentemental items, that can't really be replaced.

When i saw the subject to this thread, my first thought was, YES, IT SNOWED!!!!!…
30 minutes, for the cops to arrive… that is pretty good. I think all the police were in my home town, catching people left and right for not wearing their seat belts or following too close to the car infront of them or having their windows tinted on their vehicles.
Sorry to hear about that Pooga. I hope whoever did it either gets caught or feels so guilty they turn themselves in. Really sucks though…

that sucks Pooga I feel sorry for you, hope the cops get them back for you… I know chances are slim but one has to hope :)
Oh Pooga, that happened to my brother in law and he was so upset he was to tears…I felt bad for him since he just purchase new clubs. i asked him if there was anything I could do and his response to me was "IT DIDN'T HAPPEN….DON'T ANYONE MENTION IT AGAIN" (needless to say that was the end of that loss).
Keep your eyes open when you go golfing next season, you might spot them on a course somewhere. If the person who took them intends to use them, he'll likely see all your Saskatoon West Crse stuff and avoid that course. So go to others yourself.
But in all likelyhood, the clubs will show up at a pawn shop within a few days.
At least they didn't take your truck too.
