While I can support the truckers in some sense (mandates/no mandates is a needed conversation to ask)…. what the protests have devolved into is unacceptable…. parking and dancing over the National War Memorial and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier? Hoisting the flag of the Third Reich?
No. That is ridiculous and disgrading to our veterans and those who lost their lives to the Nazi regime.
I wish to throw in my five dollars worth. The trucker I would assume many of which are Veterans and so who may have lost family members in out of country work. The Nazi flag is a bit much however they all cannot have common sense. I support the truckers in their quest and wish them well.

The organizers of the truckers' rally stated that this was to be a peaceful demonstration and that anyone with other intentions should stay away. Unfortunately, some hooligans joined in and made a mess of the whole premice.
Flying Nazi flags (and the Canadian flag upside down), defacing the war memorial and other National monuments is NOT what truckers would do.
Yes, many truckers are veterans & retired members of the forces (AS AM I) and I, as a Canadian who fought for our freedoms, find this act totally a disgrace.
Many Vets gave their lives and fought for the freedoms of all who call themselves Canadians (but certainly didn't for them hooligans that took those freedoms too far).
Shame, I say. SHAME!

Far too many people lump people of certain group all in the same basket (all apples in the same basket) Your a Trucker and because you wish to demonstrate in the vehicle you make you living in does not make you anything but a trucker , most of which would give you the shirt off their own backs. There are good and bad in any profession so Please do not paint them all with the same brush. If bikers wanted to have a demonstration, would that make all bikers

Our Prime Minister should be ashamed for not meeting all these Canadian Truckers who all vote in Canada. He has once again disappointed many Canadians.
Definitely white privilege. They can protest for 2 weeks with no consequences, but BLM, LGBT or Indigenous protesters would have been vilified by most.
Get off the streets, go to work and quit whining. Truckers have to be vaccinated to enter the States now, so it's all a smoke screen.
Don't like it? Tough. My wife is immune compromised, so while the mandates are in place she can actually get out of the house once in a while.

Now with endless noise from blowing horns (at ALL hours of the day & night), street barricades, blocked sidewalks etc, it is now time to move along and go home.
By hanging around and continuing with your protest, you're starting to loose a lot of support that you had received.
While I support the cause, I strongly believe the time has come to move along. By doing so doesn't mean you've lost support.
