Counterfiet $10.00 Bill

Anyone interested in a confirmed counterfiet $10.00 bill. Is it even worth anything?

How did you find out it's counter fit?Is it the new $10's or the old ones?You should turn it in as if you are caught with it your in trouble lol.

2001 issue. I got the serial number from the cops because I thought it looked suspicious because of the odd colour and the visible water-run marks. The serial numbers of other bills, including mine, appeared in the local newspaper confirming it was definatly counterfiet. Is it an offense to possess such an item? I think it makes a nice keepsake

Yeah it would make a nice keepsake.Just dont carry it on you or anything cause you could get in trouble

Yea that would be a quandry, If you kept it as a keep sake you do have the possibility of being charged, yet if you took it in, it is doubtful they would give you 10 for real for it.
yet if you try to spend it, you can be charged for knowingly trying to spend counterfit money!
I think the safest bet would be to take it to the police!

I'd put it away in your money collection and say nothing of it again. I also would NOT try to spend it. Ultimately, it's your choice of course.

I think you're right. I'll just put it away and forget about it. But I'm still curious if it is worth anything to an " ultimate collector of money " whoever that is. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions people.
