Double Marking

As mentioned before, it has been suggested not to double mark bills with 2 different URLs.

I guess that idea hasn't made it over to the Dark Site yet.

I'm not a member of the Dark Site. However, I double stamp all my bills. CMT goes on the front and WHIB goes on the back. That way, I know at least ONE will get seen. I have very few hits on both sites from the same bill. I DO have hits on WHIB in places I haven't got here at all.

hopefully the bill doesnt look to messy with the double stamps, otherwise, some tellers could mutilate the bills.

Double Stamping a bill. NO MATTER HOW IT IS DONE!! Is a BAD idea!
21 I would suggest maybe Stamp every other bill with 1 site then the odd bill with the other site.
Enter them at both!!
I have hits at Where's Willy yet I never stamped my bills with that site!

21MDB: You can mark as you see fit as it is a free country. But having taken stats and been doing this for almost 5 years, I'd be willing to bet that over time hits will be split between sites.

And as for knowing that at least one of your stamps will get seen, statistically it won't matter whether you have one of each stamp on either side or the same stamp on both sides, either the user sees the URL and enters it or they don't.

But I'd be interested in the stats between bills marked one way versus the others, especially if they seemed to prove otherwise.

Just as an afterthought, I had to laugh at whoever found the bill in the example referring to WW as CMT's "competitor" site.

they obviously haven't heard of WHIB or don't consider them a "competitor" well not a real one.. LOL
