Hey, I did a silly thing. I recorded the serial number for a bill that I was going to spend before I could enter it online. No big deal, right? HOWEVER, I forgot to put the website on the bill. So, my question is…can I still claim the bill, as long as in the comments section I state that I forgot to write on the bill?
I can see how this could actually be a problem, b/c you could accuse me of just making up serial numbers to bills that I never had in my possession.
I have not entered the bill yet. I wanted to see what the response to this would be.
You can enter it, it is unlikely you will get a hit from the bill though..
If you did it would be considered a stealth hit.
I don't think it is a big deal, But I have only been here 2 months.. about.
GO AHEAD AND ENTER IT. some people do not write on their bills at all and some enter but do not write on the bills from their place of employment. no real biggie. it just lowers your chance of a hit.
okay, cool. I just didn't want to break the rules during my first week of play! I figured that the chances of a hit would be even less than they already are…but, who knows!
If you want to be real honest and know if you get a hit in a bill you didn't mark, do this. When you enter the bill, in the comments section state where you got the bill and that you recorded the serial number but did not write on the bill before you spent it..Then if you get a hit, you can check the comments you made, you will know if it is on the bill you never marked..As was said before this is known as a stealth hit and you will only get a hit on it if another user gets it, and enters it…
