A buddy found a bill with this web site on it and asked me to check it out. This is such a neat idea. So do I enter all my bills? BTW - I'm on the south coast of BC.

enter and put the web adress on them
No, don't enter any bills if you are from BC.
Move to Saskatchewan and then you can enter all the bills you can get your paws on!
They are joking, enter all the bills that you have before you spend them. I have to warn you it is addicting. I also think that it is cool cause it was my bill that entered up in your wonderful town, Thanks for the web sites you gave me.
B.C. has a south coast? I thought it was called Washington!
You know BC is the most beautiful province, atleast we werent cheated out of our scenery.
"…at least we werent cheated out of our scenery."
Neither were we. And our view isn't obstructed with all those mountains…
In Saskatchewan, we have miles and miles of miles and miles. The closest corner store could be 20 kms away - at the next corner!
I really hope you have a car to get around.
Any others in Canada usually see Saskatchewan from 35000 feet, looking out a window.
Which brings up an interesting story which underscores the size of our country….
My father's cousin is a nun who was living in Switzerland about 12 years ago. She decided to come to Canada to visit friends and relatives for the first time. Now, we are in Saskatoon, her flight was landing in Montreal. She asked if we could come and pick her up at the airport! We told her that it was a 6 day drive to get there and back. She had a hard time visuallising driving 3 days and still being in the same country!
She finally was able to grasp the immensity of this country when we told her that the distance from Saskatoon to Montreal was exactly the same distance as from Paris to Moscow. THAT was the eyeopener. Plus, Sask to Mon is only a little more than half the distance across the whole country!
I get these kinda of crazy questions all the time working at a hotel. Try dealing with American tourists everyday that think that Canada is the size of one of thier states.
And about SASK, I missed it that last time I drove through it I feel alseep. Did I miss anything?
Did I miss anything?
Well, if you took the TransCanada, you didn't miss anything. And it's a 650 km stretch! That was quite the sleep!
If you fall asleep going through sask you won't need sleep for a week
Well, all that it is is Yellow fields. It was raining when i drove to Weyburn (my dads from there). How's the skiing in Sask. Only cross country, or do you have some sort of slope? And why, when you drive to BC, do you always drive so damb slow? Scared of the sight of mountains in Alberta?
do you always drive so damb(sic) slow
It's called a 'speed limit' for a reason. I've never been much of a law-breaker.
Only cross country, or do you have some sort of slope
Not a skier myself, but Table Mountain and a few others give reasonable slopes. Nothing like the Rockies of course. But then again, when you're working a section of land, it's a lot easier to work when it's horizontal instead of vertical.
probably lots of snowshoing and fishing.
It may be mostly flat, but check out the Cypress hills in the south-west, the highest point of land between the lakehead and the rockies, or 'big muddy' in south central sask - badlands to rival Alberta's Drumheller valley. And the north has some fantastic canoeing areas. Also, the most northern desert in the world is on the south side of Lake Athabaska. If you saw photo's of it, you'd think you were in the Sahara, with shifting sand dunes, some dozens of feet high.
When compared to Ontario, Saskatchewan is definitely a lot more attractive than 3,000 miles of pre-cambrian rock!
I agree. Saskatchewan is one of Canada's gems. Probably, lucky for those that know that, most of Canada is unaware. ie the more "awareness" the less "pristine". Magnificent vistas. Golden canola. The wildness and coolness of the Cypress Hills in summer I would have no difficulties living there. Saskatoon, like Edmonton and Winnipeg, because of climate and isolation have a creativity that most cities don't reach until much greater populations.
yes…Any bills you have. Don't forget to let others know about this site so you get more HITS.
