This is the first time since I have found this site that I have been the only person logged on. How is that possible?

wondering what pages and files are??
could guess
pages being a forum post and files a bill entered…

Yes, the times are server time which is Mountain Time.

pages –> each click of a link results in a new page
hits –> each request for anything from the server (ie. HTML file, image, etc…) – doesn't always send anythign as the file might not have changed
files –> actual files sent out

Hits will always be the largest number, pages will always be the lowest. On a website where there is no caching on either the server or the client, hits and files would be the same and would be equal or higher than pages, depending on the page. For example, each page on this site requires a further 5 or so additional hits for the stylesheet and the images. Anyway, I digress…

Depends on the time of day. I've been the only person logged on on a few occasions. This is usually around 5-8 am.
