after 16 years I am at a level that people with less than a year on the site are at. 35 bills a day after 16 years I feel it is time for a promotion up one level. There are Trackers on this site with less then half the time I have been here and I am stuck on User level still 3 levels before I see Tracker. It was mentioned that active time on site should count in the Promotion Formula, and I do not see that being a factor. Time to fix the promotion part of the program.

DR is not really looking at his site too often. However he does host it on his server for free. The site badly needs a makeover to bring it up current website standards.
But the code it was written in is almost 25 years old!
Bottom line is the costs involved. Server space and the cost of a coder are an unknown.
I will try to talk dr into releasing some info on his inputs and what our options might be.
I remember many years ago all the time and attention Dr . gave to the site, now many years later and his excellent programing has allowed the site to run smoothly. Now there have been a few problems , but heck we all need maintenance once in a while. His commitment to the site is admiral keeping it running for those addicted to the site with no request for money so out of his own pocket.. Now how can we help I think that a dues based service would be in order with the first year $5.00 after a 90 day free trial , then a dollar per year added to the yearly dues so if a member has been on the site 15 years his/her rate would be $20.00 . Grandfather the dues so they start in 2022 for $5.00 and the yearly increase would start in 2023. I would be more than happy to pay my dues. Entering marked bills would always be free and if they took the free trial after 90 days a person should know if they want to pay to stay. I will be on the site 18 years in November and would be happy to pay my dues in marked fives of course.
A great idea lets put our money in DR's pocket to cover all the costs and his time. Count me in where do I pay? Cash marked bills of course. Should me worth a hit or two.☺

Some very good ideas this week membership due would not be a bad idea. Site upkeep do you think if we started to pay our own way for the use of the site that DR might give us a few hours a month to take care of problems that show up? Many members myself included have had the benefits of the site without any costs except for stamps and ink. I would rather see the dues based on your Level on the site starting at five dollars and going up one dollar for each level achieved. Just my humbled opinion.

Would need an easy way to pay each month or yearly that moving a few dollars around would be easy. Example we all send our money to one member and he then forwards a statement of who has paid and forwards the total collected to Dr.. I know my personal choice would be BDK to gather the small payments and forward the Lump sum. Pooga already has enough on his plate, so think the third party would be a welcome hand. The thoughts put in this thread are my own Humble Opinion. I value each and every site members opinions and respect there rights to be heard.
