We seem to have a cork stuck in the bottle (neck) of the Promotion algorithm. It seems to stop at USER LEVEL then if a member wants to get promoted they must request it. There are members on the site less than a year that are at the user level and members on the site over ten year who are still at the user level. WHY? Other members have tried to guide the way for those stuck in purgatory and with enough squeaky wheel additive and a bit of hoop jumping they may attain the requested Promotion. Sometimes you need lots of Squeaky wheel additive I think one member (name not revealed) must have used gallons of the additive before he made it to the top. Now once you're at the top it does not require any further requests , however for those who should be trackers by now and are stuck in User Level I feel your pain. In all that has been suggested by other trackers all I might add is apply a large amount of S.W.A. in the forums and see if your promotion is granted.

I have been on the site 13 years and feel I should be at the Tracker Level and I have made requests which did not help I guess I did not use enough S.W.A. 🤣. Really where do you come up with this stuff , I always enjoy a laugh . But now seriously I really need some traction on the promotions thing 13 years and still a User ??? Whose Corn Flakes did I p in? Pooga my site anniversary is in December how about a Promotion for that and then another one for Christmas and then maybe New Years. No I am not greedy but without regulars promotions it is time to catch up. I will accept field promotions. Hey I forgot Halloween a promotion instead of candy would be great.

I have been stuck at Dedicated Tracker for almost 12 years! I worked my way up to there in 2 years, and kept on going strong for another 3 years but got no farther. The last 8 or so years I have tapered off to just a few entries a day, and mostly stealth.
I does make me wonder if something is broken with the promotions.
You have made it to Dedicated Tracker , how would you like being a User after 13 years on site? I am a Superior Tracker so at the top rank so the broken promotions problem does not hold me back , however watching members who seem active not being awarded with promotions bothers me. Back 15 years ago promotions were achieved in a timely fashion now not so much.
I am on this site for 4 months and was promoted to a user over a month ago. I could not imagine being on this site for 12 years and still at user level. If the system is stuck at user level I know I will not wait 2 years for a promotion let alone over 10 years. That is crazy.
It all depends on your activity on the site. If you just enter notes and do not explore or partake in anything else, it will take a longer period of time to get promoted..
