Asterik

I notice that some users have an asterik and some users do not have an asterik beside their name when they log in. What does this mean?

it just means that they have logged out after logging in. when you log out, then I dont see an asterik beside your name anymore.

Actually, the asterisk (*) character is displayed beside any users that are currently logged in, and are only visible if you too are logged in.
