The bank machine spit out a nice 1969 twenty for me today. Can anyone tell me what it's worth? It's in VF to EF condition, signatures are Beattie/Rasminsky and serial number is EY955**.

That one is worth face value.. Nothing collectable about it.
That's amazing that the machine spit out a '69 twenty…I know there's tons of '79s still around, but I would have figured the '69s were gone from general circulation by now!
I have a 69 $20 also…I got it from work and i do see them every so often

MmmBeer, I'm just curious as to why it's only worth face value. Is it the condition, signatures, prefix, or are they just fairly common?
Condition reduces the bill the most.. an AU bill equals 70% of that an UNC bill would be. Some sig. combos are more rare than others, also serial prefixes, some are more rare than others.
Ill update this and give more examples later…
Thanks, MmmBeer!
