Why so many one timers?

What I find very frustrating is the number of people in this area who enter one bill, then no more. When I check the search function, I see single bills being entered on a fairly regular basis, but Bobaroy and I, and someone called Simpson, seem to be the only regulars in New Brunswick.

These people may not have beent hat interested.. as I am sure all areas have many 1 timers
As you Enter Mark and spend money. there will be more people who come to the site, maybe even some of those 1 timers will come back.
With the proper encouragement to some of the new users to make them feel welcome. They may come and start entering their own bills.

Yep, Lord_Comedy is right. If someone finds a bill, what I do is simply email them and say thanks, explaining what the site is about and letting them know they can do the same if they wish.

My guess why there are so many one timers is that when they find a bill and come to this site, instead of entering the bill they get an ID etc. Maybe not realizing that you do not have to have and ID to enter the bill.
That is how I entered the first and only bill that I ever came across from this site.

I think you are right about first timers. The note about entering bills anonymously is tucked away at the bottom of the page. I confess that I did not realize I had that option until after I had entered my first bill with a user name.

Hey man, I just started and I've entered 3 all ready. Haven't spent them yet, though. Tonight, with any luck! Where are you guys at? Have you had any hits? Wondering if I'll get any, as no one here seems to have heard of this before.

Welcome from Fredericton! There are not too many of us in New Brunswick entering money on a regular basis - only three recently. Two of us are in Fredericton and one in Dalhousie. Two of us are relatively new so no hits yet but the person who has been on the site for over a year has had some hits. There are hits fairly regularly in NB but most of them are bills from Saskatchewan where they have been involved longer and entered oodles of money.

I hope you will continue to enter bills. It just takes some patience to wait for hits, especially in an area where only a few know about the site. Out west it is easier because so many people are entering bills, and many people recognize the marked bills and enter them when they find them.

I'm in Moncton, but will be home in Calgary for Christmas, so maybe I'll come across some bills there, and then back to my other home in Montreal in January. So you guys will be back on your own. But I'll make sure I take lots of marked Atlantic bills with me out there.
I spent my first three marked bills yesterday and am hoping someone checks them out!

Welcome to the site!

I was in Winnipeg once for about an hour last year around Christmas time; does that count? We ran from a bus station down to see the legislature or whatever in the freezing cold, and then back again. It was pretty with decorations! C'est-tu toi qui m'a repondu en français avant? Es-tu francophone? Le français ne serait pas bien QUE pour les Quebecois, mais pour tous francophones et ceux (anglophones) qui veulent pratiquer, aussi!
