$20 bill

Give Me Money

Does anyone know why the $20 bill most of the time has a reddish colour on the back down the center fold of the bill (usually in between serial #s) and also the eye of the loon.
Could it be that it lost colour from a $50 bill being folded next to it in a sweaty wallet…??? However, i have found other $20's without this reddish colour, Wuz-up ????
Thanks for your help in trying to explain this mystery.

Have a Happy New Year:)

I just got $200 from an ATM. All brand new $20 dollar bills, and they have the 'reddish tinge' on the back so it must be the way they are printed.

Possibly wally69me cause i have a couple other 20's that are in rough shape and one with no sign of this and the other with only a faint tinge present. Can it be that it gets worn away as bill ages???

Naw, I got a stack of 20's from the bank yesterday- unc. and sequential- all had the coloration you described.
