Missing Hit

I had 71 hits this morning and came home from work to find 70. Can someone tell me why?

dr is going thru the dec. hits and getting rid of any that are not real hits. It happens every month.

well mstiggs I had like 504 or something like that and now I get on and only have 500 so go figger. I checked my hit heaven and they have not been put there…sheesh….

well eagle if that was the case then those hits should be in my hit heaven right???? You are so very versed on this cmt site…..

Same thing happened to me…. I did ask St Peter to let me thru the doors and see, however, he said, if I cant see it from here, that he probably deleted it. I was expecting one to go to hit heaven some time ago, just forgot about it. So glad to see St Peter is doing his job! snicker

well I am a horse of a different color. I am curious and need to know what bills went away or got erased. I am like a cat, curious even if i don't understand it.

Hits that are questionable go to 'Hit Heaven' whereas hits that are clearly double entries, such as when the note is entered anonymously and then 2 minutes later by a registered user at the same postal code, are deleted.

And for those of you wanting to know "why?" you will just have to trust me. I had 5000 hits to go through since before the wedding in November and deleted/heavened close to 100 hits so far (mostly due to double entries). If I had to justify each and every one, I'd be doing this until 2037.

Ok but what if you live in a small town where everyone has the same postal code?

I'm not sure, but as long as you use a different computer to enter them, it should be ok. Each computer has it's own IP address, and I think dr has access to these when looking up hits. Also, if you and a bunch of people live in apartments together, you shouldn't be entering each others bills for hits anyways…unless there was a legitimate transaction - like you bought something from him. Even then, some of your hits may be deleted or sent to hit heaven.

I live in a "small" town and so far only have had 3 hits from people here!! Seems everyone now knows I track bills and no one else seems to want to (but they all ask everyday!!)I think thats the down fall of being in a small town. In a larger place no one knows who you are so lots more will track, in a small town you have to get the bills out to the larger centers. Makes it harder for hits, but just as much fun!!
