first of all……… it is not cooooold out. it is ccccccccccold.
2nd you love it here cause when it warms up to -20 in a few days it will feel like a spring day. :o)
you live here so that you can say to all the wusses elsewhere that you have no problem with dealing with -40C. i relish it. and i love how when i walked outside this morning it just SOUNDED like -40 (F or C). bring it on, gaia… i can take it… :)
Cold? It's fffrreezziinngg, even the heated water bowls are freezing. I hate it, but I would never live anywhere else!!! Besides, its suppose to be nicer by Sunday!
And don't you just love how we hardly get any mention on the Weather Network, yet it seems like elsewhere they treat it like its the end of the world, LOL
Oh Good!!!!!! can't wait till Sunday then!!!!
:o)
oh its not that bad out… we're canadians, we can take this weather.. just gotta learn to dress up!!
lol
Farmer's Almanac says, its suppose to be like this til Feb 15… (tomorrow, 29th, being the coldest)
Pretty sad when we can look forward to it 'warming up' to -25!
Key Lake hit -56… without the windchill!
had to laff the other day, my brother who lives in the States was saying how cold it was… -10… i said, hell that i bikini weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Educate me, Poogie.. where is Key Lake?
ahhh… the farmer's almanac… just ahead of the Weekly World News and pigs' spleens for veracity…
My brother, who lives in Houston, mentioned to me that he was "surprised" to see frost on the PALM TREE outside his front door this morning! While I freeze my ass of up here.
We're #1!
Saskatchewan was the coldest place on the planet last night.
Woo
I know now why I DON'T live in Saskatchewan!
I remember a few years back i was working out side..
Moving none the less
it was - 60 C then the wind chill
and it was windy
i think with the 40 Km / hr wind it brought the weather to being - 110 C
that night when i was watching the news / weather
in calgary… as we loaded in regina then drove to calgary
on our way to Vancouver
anyways that night they said regina reached the coldest ever recorded .. they started recording roughly 100 years ago
so today is nothing compaired to that..
and yes i was outside today working.. doing moving.. :)
so i never got much time to warm up.. i was outside for 2 spurts of 3 hours at a time
