CLICLL mystery man

I found it interesting that the only other poster for Quebec happens to live? (at least spend) in the same city as I. CLICLL has nothing in his/her/their profile to suggest who this is, and not one comment is said about the bills they enter. They signed up just a couple of days after me and entered just a few more bills. No hits though. I have 2. I hope at least they are marking their bills in some way. For my own effort I would want some recognition, but for them I guess they don't want any indication or clue of how their money is used. Oh well, to each their own. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, just found it curious.

And no, I'm not entering bills under 2 different ID's. Is that possible…just to get more hits?

As for me, when I enter bills I like to add a little something extra when I can, like comment on the weather or the time of year, maybe a joke or some little tidbit that other's may not have known. I want others to get a little peek of what its like to be where I am in contrast to where they are, yeah I like to yap sometimes but that's just me. Wouldn't you like to find something special when you pick up that "message in a bottle".

I don't think that people can find out where you are when you leave a few comments, what do the rest of you think?

One suggestion to get the ball rolling for you in La Belle Province…..

Try hitting as many gas stations as you can with bills… even if it's just for change. A disproportionate number of the members here seem to be in the retail gas trade. If you can get even one or two more people entering there, perhaps it will build momentum!

I like the idea. I get tired of finding different adjectives to take the boredom out of entering. I think I described one of my bills as "peripatetic". Now that's bad. Another one which is basically the same was "itinerant" See what I mean. Ragged and soiled and different ways to express tired, old bills.

At our little get-together, we talked about sending a little note via anon. e-mail to those who entered a username when they entered our bills. Just a short one thanking them for visiting and inviting them to join and have some fun. Hopefully this will make them feel welcome and encourage them to become committed members.
