Main page headers

Does everyone like the main page headers I have been putting up recently? I'm going to continue to do this every once in a while for major events (such as the gold medal win).

I agree.. They could be a little smaller.. I like the idea, but they are just too big! I think you'd be better to have ads, if you want to take up that space. You could make money, But i'd prefer a smaller pic. or nothing.

I like them. It adds a break from monotony that is seen with other sites. At least it sounds like a workable concept.

I think its a great idea.

No ads please, but having a cool new link to look at once in awhile is always fun.

This site will NEVER have ads. Ever. I will always find a way to support the site without the use of advertising or other intrusive stuff. It's a fun site for all of us and I do not want to make it into something that tries to turn a profit. End of story. :)

As for the graphics being too big, I agree somewhat. However, I am not a graphics guy and in both of the cases so far, I've "stolen" the images from the CBC website… and beggars can't be chosers. :)

I like the heading, gives an idea of whats happining in Canada once in a while.

I like 'em. It's good to change them frequently, though. If you leave them up too long it looks like the site is not maintained. I don't think this has been the case at CMT, but its sad to visit sites and see stuff about Christmas still…

I agree…no ads. But DR, if you feel a graphic you've put up has been there too long and you want to change it, I wouldn't have a problem with you put up a little propaganda for your own company.
