Olympics

Did anyone notice that Canada won both Golds in Olympic Hockey?

You'd have to be BLIND AND DEAF not to have noticed..especially that it was USA teams that the Canadians beat!

Woo hoo! We won! Double gold medals for Canada in the Olympics for hockey. Well done to both the ladies and the guys for their gold medals. And well done to all Canadians coast to coast for supporting both teams all the way!

WAY TO GO CANADA!

I went on American chat lines just to let them know how proud we are.

We know you're a hockey nut dr… but do you really watch the NHL regular season???

It's so watered down and boring after watching the Olympics, world championships, world junior, etc. (And wasn't it nice to see what was basically an NHL game played to IIHF rules?)

I used to enjoy hockey in the old 6 team NHL, and I could even live with 16, but there just aren't enough SKILLED players to fill out a 32 team league.

Me too, I went to the where'sgeorge site and kicked some ass!

AngloFrog, please try to refrain from cross-posting or provoking the guys at 'that' site as well as the 'whereswilly' site. They are very sensitive about their sites and in the past some of their users have 'flown off the handle' so to speak. In the interest of good relations, it's best to leave those guys alone.

I agree with a few messages ago. I like the olyimpic sized ice, IIHF rules (or whatever), and the ALL-STAR team. What makes the NHL on TV boring is the announcers.. They never talk about whats going on in the game, usually they're off in space talking about what happened last week (not announcing the game). The olyimpic announcers made the game much greater. They were in the game.
Thats my opinion.

ooooooooooo sorry, yet I did not mention this site and it was only the one time. Again I am sorry. : (
