I am originally from Ontario and we always called the Western Provinces Manitoba Saskatchewan and Alberta.
BC was the West Coast and Ontario & Quebec were the Central Provinces and the rest were the Atlantic Provinces. This one forum never seems to be used so maybe it should join the other two western provinces.
You're right in all the locations of the provinces from an Ontarian's point of view and that's what we were taught in school. But seriously folks, now Saskatchewan is west of whatever else is east of it. Just like Newfoundland is east of whatever else is west of it. Get it? LOL.
I alway called Alberta & BC the West provinces, and I called Manioba, Ontario, & Quebec the eastern provinces, I called everything east of Quebec as "over there" lol
Obviously, I called SK as "central canada" as that is where I'm from
lol
The four western provinces were in one message board right around the time I started. But, something about too much go roughriders talk, so dr vanquished us to talk amongst ourselves. I'm sure Pooga knows the whole story…
looks to me it would be easier to follow a forum with 2 provinces than it would be to follow one with 4 provinces.
I think the 4 different catergories makes it easier.
most people really only think of 2 being east and west..
sk and manitoba are really western provinces, but central canada.
i say bc alb and sask are west i saw a comic one time of a map of canada with a big cow standing over canada and the head and mouth was in alb and it showed farmers from alb bc and sask feeding it hay and the back end was in ontario and politions there were milking it ha ha its funny and true we do the hard work and they get the benifiits
SO TO CONTINUE THE COW STORY THE HEAD WAS WEST THAT WOULD PUT THE BUTT WHERE? IFIN ONTARIO WAS MILKIN IT THEN THE BUTT WAS A BIT FARTHER EAST. I NEED A COPY OF THAT CARTOON ;-).
Are you trying to figure out what pool he drops the cosby kids off at???
