$20 Dollar Bill
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this. He proceeded to crumple the $20 dollar bill up.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were Up in the air. Well, he replied, "What if I do this?" And he Dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still Wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.
My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still Wanted it because it did not decrease in value . It was still worth $20.

i use that often when someone gives me heck for seeing the enhancement on the bill.
I had someone who thought that new bills were being stamped with our stamp by the mint. I had a bunch of really new and crunchy ones and she asked when they had started that up. I had to explain that I did and she said she thought they did it to see how long money lasted and if more ended up in one province over another.
oh that is a good one, Antics.. i'll have to remember that when I hand over enhanced bills to some people..

I did not say that to anyone. she thought that the mint was issuing them that way now.

I have had a couple of people ask what the markings were for.. This may be the perfect answer. :o)
Ha, Ha! I've gotten the same comment from people and had to correct them that the MINT does not print Money, the Canadian Banknote or British American Banknote companies do! As most already know, the Royal Canadian Mint produces our Coins and the BABN/CBN print our money on authorization of the Bank of Canada and then are distributed through the banking system.
One of my lines on my bills is 'Currency Tracking Study', which usually prompts the above comments involving the Government or 'Big Brother'. Yeah, and some Bureaucrat in Ottawa is being paid to crank out stamped bills! Unless we have a user there by that name. Next thing they'll be saying is that the security threads are linked to a sophisiticated GPS system and a secret plot to halt the Underground Economy.
