I'm still trying to figure out how this scoring works. Each time I enter the website, I check my score on my overview & compare it to the score on the Top User's list as well as my user profile. The overview & user profile usually agree, but the Top user's list has never matched & is usually about 10 full points lower. Could this be due the constantly fluctuating point system?
That is something I have been trying to figure out for some time. At times they are close and other times there is quite a spread. Last Friday they were all within 0.5 and today there is a spread of 11 points.
The frustrating part is that my overall profile score goes down day by day even though the overview score goes up. In the end I guess it all works out but…..
The 'top users' window only gets updated once a day- so it will always be behing a bit. The user profile is updated instantly. For me, it's like the trip comuter in my van- I've got a milage calculator that's instant, flippin' all over the place as I go up and down hills, and the the average mileage calculator that gives me the average based on the last 500 km.
Long and short, the discrepancy is caused by when the score is calculated, not the formula.
