HTML in your messages

HTML doesn't work in messages… And I'm moving towards a new system wheere ir removes all but simple stuff. So please don't use it from now one.

I was just wondering what this preview and edit are for?

Preview is there so you can see what you message is going to look like when you submit it; it's mostly for when you are using some basic HTML stuff for marking text as bold or italic. The edit exists so you can correct silly grammar/spelling errors.
