slow main page

There seems to be some time issues with the website… that is, the main page seems to take a while to load. I've upgraded the database, and that seems to help slightly. However, the time issue mostly revolves around the CMT Score top ten list and the fact that it's dtabase intensive to calculate, especially as the number of bills, hits and user continues to grow. The main page is much faster if you view some of the other top ten lists on the main page, such as the top bill hits. So, starting next version, the CMT Score will no longer be dynamic. Instead, the CMT Score for the top ten list will be calculated one per day, shortly before midnight. Your up-to-the-minute score will still be displayed in the user info box however, so you will still get to see your CMT Score change as you enter bills/get hits throughout the day.

I notice it is slower during the day late at night is better .To all the computor people what is wrong with my computor after using for a while it slows down if I restart it it works fine but I have to do thhis almost every day

Hey… I wrote a meesage about the slow page.. What happened to it? It said that i have noticed it slow.

I removed your earlier message MmmBeer as it was redundant. I wasn't asking if people had noticed that it's slow; I was telling you that it was slow and what the reason for it was.

Your problem is that you're using Windows. :) Seriously though, it may be an issue with one of your programs having a memory leak and thus by the end of the day, your machine starts to run low on memory which in turn slows it down. Or it just could be MS Windows… (I run Linux in case you were wondering).
