Actually…..its because he has a bit of a problem seeing the smaller fonts!

The problem is with the postal code system. They haven't changed the system yet so both NWT and NU both start with the same letter.

Until either the system is changed or the database dr has, can separate the two, you cannot easily find Nunavit bills.

Funny that you would use all caps with poor sight. I have decent vision and didn't even read your whole message because all upper case is so hard to read. (hurts MY eyes! lol)

Have you tried using the larger fonts available in your preferences?

There is also magnifying freeware available that will increase the size of selected parts of your screen.

Or if the problem is only on replies, use HTML to increase the size!

meh… i just generally avoid BANKCOLLECTOR's posts because they ARE so difficult to read. i'm sure he avoids mine because they are all lower case. i have had a degenerative eye disease and two corneal transplants so i'm somewhat vision-challenged as well. the computer and most operating systems allow many accomodations for those of us who have accessibilty problems. these would range from contrast adjustments in "assessibility options" to just changing display options on one's own screen. i, myself, have often chosen to use a word processor where i type in larger font and then cut and paste into the reply box. pooga has a great idea in using HTML. all of these are more accommodating to my reading audience whose opinion i value. communication is a two-way street.

This is perhaps a good lesson for us all. Not everyone has perfect eyesight, myself included, and any information or ideas on how to best increase readability is most welcome as I am sure that not everyone knows the different options that are available.

I'm way behind on internet ettiquite, so I could be guilty of doing any number of faux pas, but as some wise person said somewhere, sometime, 'don't sweat the small stuff'… I've never been bothered by ALL CAPS, all lower, colours, weird spellin'; strangely, the only thing that bugs me are the acronyms- WTG, BTW, LMAO, ROTFL, etc. What's up with that! Pretty tough for an old fart to figure out. Yeah, I know, there are glossaries out there that explain, but then you've gotta remember what they mean, or look 'em up every time- I'm gettin' older every day!

We all have our pet peeves.. for Pooga it seems spelling and english mistakes are his.

the all caps are very hard to read. i found out by accident about the "ahem" so called "trees" that are on the left side of this screen. they make the fonts larger so that they CAN EASILY BE READ. EVEN FOR THOSE WITH DISTRESSED VISION LIKE JKNOTE AND BANKCOLLECTOR. my problem is i am becoming near sighted. so i have to take my glasses off to see the screen now. then on to see what is going on down the street at the bar. going for my eye test on friday so probably get those darned bicfocals then. "sigh" getting old.

Alot dont know the HTML code.. however, I think in BC's case, using the bigger font option (top left hand corner), i think it will alleviate alot of controversy about YELLING… I do find it hard to read messages in caps, however, most of BankC's messages are interesting, so its worth reading, even tho i think he's yelling at me LOLOLOL.. (oops for those who don't like the caps, lolol)
