Saskatoon Gathering X Report

Thanks to mstiggs and the Mr. for hosting last night's Gathering. 12 members present. mstiggs (and Mr.), CJ (and Mr.), Shrimp (no Little Shrimp though), kayfbee, wally, ramblinroy, Idjit, Master, Sarge, and myself. Plus mstiggs' 2 little trackers!

Would you believe that this was the most conservative meeting so far??? Nothing unusual happened, even though we were all waiting for wally to pull a napkin out of his soup. Mr. CJ was very quiet, but he wasn't feeling too well (but still showed up!!!) And Nelson didn't show, so the kilt stayed in the box.

CJ showed off the 'official' CMT t-shirt, and it looks good!

Finally, for the Saskatchewan Provincial Gathering II…

We came to the consensus that we would like to move the gathering to a different location. It would still be on June 6, but we need some advice from the South Saskatchewan members. It was planned for the regional park near Craik, but we were wondering if <a href=http://www.se.gov.sk.ca/saskparks/parks/park.asp?park=Douglas target=_blank>Douglas Provincial Park</a> would be better? So let us know what you know that we don't know!

Looks like Douglas Provincial Park may be out. With the new budget this park is one of the one's that won't be opening until June 18, unless the govt changes its mind.

Hey…I don't have a $3.00 charge for fires in my back yard!!!!If anyone is interested!!!ANYONE???? But I'm not sure how many tents I can pitch in the back yard though and only have room for one camper!.

Seriously, we could still use it, there just won't be any services. Idea: go a little later in the month?

Later in the month? How about the 20th?

Or stick with the 6th and move to <a href=http://www.se.gov.sk.ca/saskparks/parks/park.asp?park=Danielson target=_blank>Danielson Prov. Park</a>?
