Well, the name beside the first entry on this thread happens to be 'POOGA".
Using a Mac is like a religious cult or an extremist religion, such as Islam. "Listen to us, because all else is blasphemy. Unbelievers must be destroyed. They are heretics. Islam has two houses 'the house of Islam' and the 'house of war'. If you are not of the 'house of Islam', you are a target. And do not dare to question the prophet". … If you are not a Mac beleiver, you are inferior, if you do not worship at the iBook of Jobs you are an infidel, and do not dare to question it.
Come to the next gathering guys, I have some Kool-Aid for you.
I've just come up with a new term: MacFascists
.... i wonder if the ability to lock a thread is in the offing..... :)
Oh No!!!– Not that MasterLock and key coming out, just when pooga and I had all the Guns ready with new amo- such a shame -Oh well- freedom of speech is not a freedom any more I guess but a Right of Priveledge that we are having taken away.
jdf remonstrated:

sure thing, HB… :)
"People buy Macs not just for the design, but also for Mac OS X and all the great creative software that is only available for Mac OS X. One of the most common comments I hear from recent converts to Macs is that they feel free to get work done on their computer rather than wasting lots of time and frustration on dealing with Windows issues, anti-virus issues, spyware issues, trojan horse concerns, and other malware issues like reinstalling due to contamination even though they thought they were covered with all these anti-malware issues. It is a complete experience that Mac users enjoy. I love a saying that has been around for quite a while but seems worth repeating:
Mac users swear by their computers.
Windows users swear at their computers. " - Anonymous writer at PCWorld.
"Computers manufactured by companies such as IBM, Compaq, Dell, and millions of others are by far the most popular worldwide. Macintosh fans, on the other hand, may note that cockroaches are far more numerous than humans, and that numbers alone do not denote a higher life form."
And a great LAST word:
"Macintosh - we might not get everything right, but at least we knew the century was going to end."
Pooga ya stole my amo - i had just found that last quote and was going to put it in the forum.
I recall a lot of needless expense was averted by not being in that 95 per cent crowd but in the 5 per cent that laughed all the way to the bank.
