As do many areas in the Armed Forces refer as Zulu Time. But it was always known as Greenwich Mean Time. I think when used over the radio Zulu is heard more clearly than Greenwich hence they use Zulu. Please don't mind us old farts who also would have stayed with the old measurement system instead of metric. Call them what you will many of us old farts still think of it as Greenwich and an inch is still an inch (unless your talking about fishing or...).
