my 2 cents, I love the idea.... Ive had 2 "boomerangs" (love the name, if the changes are possible it should stick) in the past few years....I think if someone was continually re-entering the same notes as an issue of habit it would be noticed around here pretty quick. also, if they dont count towards your hit count or CMT score, theres less reason for unscrupulous users to try to manipulate the system.
my vote is to see if it can be done!
