re: eue prefix ... what is the delay? |
BC:
I am not sure how many times this must be explained to you, but I have the patience of Job and so I will give it another shot (except I'll try to be monosyllabic this time ...oops... blew it already! :) ).
There is a certain procedure that I follow when adding a prefix and several tests that must be met. When these are met, the prefix is added. This is the way that *I* do it. It seems to be rather widely accepted, with at least one obvious exception.
The prefix EUE has not been widely encountered and I only know, for certain, of one occurrence. That is not enough for me. And please understand that it is NOT the only prefix that is pending for addition. Repeated requests or aspersions cast are not going to make this happen any sooner.
Your options are several:
a) ask another Site Assistant to enter the prefix -- they may have other standards.
b) appeal to the Site Administrator to have HIM enter the prefix.
c) be patient.
My personal suggestion would be, c). Lives do not hang in the balance on this and while I understand that patience does not come equally easily for all, I have heard that it IS a virtue.
Happy tracking!
