How about...3 letter combinations means some 17,576 (26 x 26 x 26) combination of series they can have. Of course, they wouldn't use combination like A$$, but even so, there would still be 17,000+ combinations possible. Also, if you recall the 'old days' before letters were included in serial numbers, there were 11 digits in the serial number. For the future, once they run out of 17,000+ combinations? Put the 3 letters at the end of the sequence and start over!
