Only downside to a NEW stamp pad is that it makes your stamp VERY slippery.
I always use an ’older’ stamp pad whenever possible. When needing a ’re-charge’, you can.place the new ink pad on top of the older ink pad, PRESS, and transfer ink from new to old. Works for me.
