meh, antics... i get all MY textbooks free :)

but seriously.... there are many ways to avoid paying what university bookstores want to charge. there are quite a few places online that have them for cheaper. in many cases, there is little difference between an older edition and the newer one. and the older one is way cheaper.

i hate the bookstores with a passion and do all i can to make life difficult for them -- like putting my desk copy of the textbook on reserve, using texts that have been in uses for many years and by usually not making the text mandatory. i usually have a good relationship with the textbook representatives.... i hope they never find out how little money they make off me!
