ob enumeration - an homage to the old usenet discussion newsgroups where you posted something that was largely off-topic but was in reply to someone else's off-topic post, you would usually include something that was, by obligation, related to the forum or discussion. "ob" was usually read as "Obligatory" and the rest of the phrase related to what was germane. here, i have posted a quantitative measure that is clearly an "enumeration" (literally) of the number of days left in my countdown, thus meeting, however obliquely, the requirement to stay on topic. [sigh] the internet USED to have conventions.... :)
