People watch your every move and machines supply more information to the house then player can believe. I had the chance to talk with a long time casino worker who told me things that while very believable are seldom thought of or imagined that such data is collected. When you use a players card you receive reward points however what you give up as information is worth more than the points given as rewards. Profiles are generated on type of machines you like to play length of time you stay on a machine (do you jump from machine to machine) or stay at the same machine for most of your stay. How much do you bet per spin and how much money you spend over the course of your stay. Number of visits per month and length of each visit time of day and hours are part of your profile, denominations of the bills you spend plus the information you supply them when you get the card. I was told that they then add to your profile by checking credit ratings place of work, assets and who knows what else they gather. I am thinking that the use of my players card is going to have to stop as my personal information is worth more to me then some free points.
