Today I entered 205 BAD notes that are should be destroyed bt the bank as being consideredated as "mutilated" notes. These note will not / can not be read by ATMs, parking lot machines, candy/pop machines, etc.

Most of the notes are $5 bills. Others were $10 bills.

There reasons for these notes being reported as POOR (FAIR at best) conditions are for the following reasons:

-torn
-missing pieces
-taped
-unreadable serial numbers
-severe folds
-missing colours (showing clear polymer)
-badly scratched "clear" windows
-melted areas
-some "idiot" writing all over the note in ink or felt marker in a 'discerning' way (I find these ones usually from the "other" well-known site, and MAY be written in French..I refuse to even enter those notes to give them a "hit"). I have on occasion, sent them a message with a nite to be more 'discreet' with their markings, but I suspect that its falls on deaf ears.

While 2 notes gave me hits (both to BANKCOLLECTOR), the others offered up no hits.

Some customers will even refuse to accept them and will ask for a different note.

The notes are NOT marked with the website info.

The couriers (Wells Fargo, G4S, GardaWorld, Brinks, etc) should be pulling them from their 'collections" but unfortunately they don't seems to care as they just count them, bundle them, and ship them out once again. Many ATM's will get loaded with the for dispensing, but will not accept them back. Bank Tellers should also be pulling them from there tills/machines/drawers but again many could care less about them. (and to think that some complain about a website stamp on the note🤬)

S0, tomorrow I will be taking them to a bank for exchange of larger notes with the directions that these notes should be scraped. I know that this is not what this website really wants but I don't believe that we should help in their distribution (nor should they bear our website info which would only bring dic=scredit toys in my humble opinion).

Yes, as many of you know, I DO mark my entered notes (well, most of them) with a stamp but I do try do be careful on their placement so as to not interfere with there 'usability' (although the odd one does get "mushed", usually when using a brand new ink pad).

In closing, I must add that ALL the notes that I received have come from the banks were I have placed orders for bundles +/or bricks, who get them directly from their carrier 'provider'). Guess I should insist on BRAND NEW (MINT) condition notes in the future.
