REALLY Old Note! |

Was going through my late mother's papers (passed 5 years ago) and found an old $5 bill in an envelope. She had added a short note in the envelope.
The bill has a very interesting story!
My grandfather came to Canada in 1927, 6 months after my father was born. My father and grandmother then followed him to Canada in 1930. In about 1937, my grandfather sent a $5 bill to his brother in southeastern Poland. Even at the height of the depression, they were afraid to spend it. Then came WWII and the bill was hidden. Then came the Soviet occupation, and the bill stayed hidden. When my father visited Poland in 1986 (still communist country) they gave it back to him! My parents then hid it away until I discovered it yesterday!
So what do I do with a 1937 $5 bill with a great history, but no real documentation?
Due to its condition, it might be worth $20.
